F1 2011 Japan Race Laptime Distributions

A couple of overviews of the laptime distributions for the 2011 Japanese Grand Prix. Firstly, by car:



Note that we can get an at a glance view that indicates how many pitstops each car was involved with an how much time was lost comparatively during the pitstops.

And by lap:



This view shows when pit stops were kicking in (though not by which car) as well as 'notable' circuit-wide activity, such as the presence of the safety car.
